Our Projects
On the request of UN-HABITAT, Nairobi, IAESPH organized capacity development of professionals from Ethiopia, Mozambique, Uganda, Cameroon and Burkina Faso, Kenya, Tanzania, Mali, Ghana, Rwanda and Senegal Zambia as a part of achieving the millennium development goals (MDG) set for sustainable water, sanitation, waste water and solid waste management plus health and hygiene sectors. This program is a step towards strengthening and promoting south-south cooperation for sharing experience and exchanging ideas on appropriate technology.
At national level, the Academy organized capacity building program for the local government functionaries and stakeholders from different states including Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh. The Academy believes that education as well as capacity building alone could contribute significantly for the required acceleration of WASH and environmental programs.
The Academy has also taken up various initiatives for the human resource development. These include regular visit and training courses organized for hospital nurses, doctors and officers of Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, officers and trainees from the Human Settlement Management Institute (HSMI) and many other departments of the Central, State and Local Governments and also NGOs from India and Abroad.
